A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Schedule:
Full-Time Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with 30-minute lunch unpaid (occasional weekends as needed)
Location:
Saratoga Springs, NY (occasional travel to branches in Eastern NY)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders. Assist with setup and breakdown for events or special projects as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities. Requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or in a similar role. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of maintenance issues efficiently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
