Job Description

Lornamead is currently seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! Headquartered in Tonawanda, NY, Lornamead manufactures and supplies, hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpaste, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Perform preventative maintenance and routine repair of production lines and support equipment. Work directly with the line operators and supervisors to pinpoint problem areas with equipment. Setup and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair machine parts. Complete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager in a timely fashion. Clean up maintenance shop and work stations by the end of shift daily. Follow all company policies, SOP's, and GMP's. Support all objectives of Lornamead, Inc. and exceed Company goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic electrical knowledge. Knowledge and experience with industrial equipment. Experience with high speed filling and packing equipment preferred. Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills. Good math skills. Good documentation skills
