Job Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, facilities, and systems to ensure optimal functionality. The following skills are preffered but not all required.
General Maintenance Skills :
Proficiency in basic maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems maintenance.
Repair and Troubleshooting :
Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in different areas of a property, from malfunctioning appliances to structural problems.
Knowledge of Safety Regulations :
Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others, including knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
Communication Skills :
Effective communication with management, staff and other maintenance staff to understand requirements, report issues, and coordinate tasks.
Time Management :
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Attention to
Detail :
Thoroughness in inspecting properties for maintenance needs and ensuring that all repairs are completed to a high standard.
Customer Service :
Providing excellent customer service to guests by addressing concerns promptly and courteously.
Knowledge of Tools and Equipment :
Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used for maintenance and repair tasks, as well as equipment such as ladders and safety gear.
Basic IT Skills :
Understanding of basic computer skills for tasks such as accessing maintenance management software, communicating via email, and using digital resources for troubleshooting.
Adaptability :
Ability to adapt to various situations and challenges that may arise during maintenance work, such as unexpected repairs or changes in scheduling.
