Job Description

Job Title:
Apartment Maintenance Technician 20 to 30 hours per week. Make your own schedule (for the most part).
Job Summary:
Our property management company is seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our apartment community. This includes conducting routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests, and assisting in the preparation of vacant units for new tenants. The Maintenance Technician must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work Respond to tenant repair requests in a timely and professional manner Troubleshoot and repair appliances, and other equipment Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new tenants, including cleaning and minor repairs Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergency repairs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of carpentry systems Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently Availability for on-call rotations for after-hours emergency repairs If you are a reliable and skilled maintenance technician with a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team.
