Full Job Description Classification:

Maintenance Technician II/ III Reports to:

Maintenance Supervisor Objective:

Responsible for the activities concerned with equipment installation, repair, preventive maintenance, buildings and grounds improvements covering both mechanical and electrical fields

Essential Functions:

Monitor and ensure safety requirements are met Perform electrical maintenance on equipment including reading schematics, troubleshooting, wiring, installation, and preventative maintenance Perform mechanical maintenance on equipment including reading schematics, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual Identify required parts and communicate usage and needs to maintenance supervisor Able to utilize the work order system and maintain records of completed jobs Perform other work as assigned by management and supervisor Education and Training Demonstrated experience/training in electrical and mechanical maintenance Minimum Qualifications Five years of external multi-craft maintenance experience or demonstrated experience as a level II Maintenance Technician (Skilled in either Electrical or Mechanical discipline) with formal certification/training in the additional skill required (Electrical or Mechanical) Ability to read and understand blueprints, machine diagrams, and schematics Solid verbal and written skills Able to operate material handling equipment such as hoists and hand trucks Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
