Job Description
Maintenance Technician Level IICore Skills:
Ability to work well with groups or independentlyGood problem-solving skills required to resolve problems and making routine recommendationsRequires documentable experience in the maintenance trades, formal apprenticeship or equivalent on the job the job training experience.Working knowledge basic industrial electrical & mechanical skills.
Ability to speak read and write English.Departmental CompetenciesResponsible for facilities & equipment repairs through written and verbal instruction.
Must perform work in various maintenance trades including, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, construction/carpentry, painting and pneumatics.
Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Required to properly fill out and return documentation and paperwork when task is completedMust be willing to work a flexible work scheduleWill be on call and must respond to call outs as requiredValid driver's license requiredMust be able to work off ladders and aerial platformsBe aware of costs, reduce or keep to a minimum expendituresAbility and skills to perform facilities Maintenance level 2 work in addition being able to work on assignments that are moderately complex in natureIndependenceMust be experienced at working independently or with others on various projectsNormally receives work instructions verbally and written on general work assignments. May work from rough sketches and drawings. Does not receive any instruction on routine assignments.
