A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
Handyman Services is looking for a skilled, dependable, and professional Handyman / Remodeling Technician to join our growing team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
We are looking for someone with a strong, well-rounded handyman skill set. You don't have to be an expert at every trade, but you should be confident performing a variety of common residential repairs and installations.
Skills may include:
?? Hanging and installing interior and exterior doors ?? Window installation and repairs ?? Ceiling fan installation ?? Light electrical work ?? Light plumbing and fixture repairs ?? Interior and exterior painting ?? Drywall installation, repair, and finishing ?? LVP flooring installation Tile installation and repair ?? Bathroom remodeling ??? Kitchen remodeling General carpentry and home repairs Trim, baseboard, and finish work General troubleshooting and problem solving Job-site cleanup and maintaining a professional work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is: Experienced in residential handyman, remodeling, maintenance, or construction work Knowledgeable in multiple areas of home repair and remodeling Reliable and dependable Able to work independently and complete projects with quality workmanship Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes Able to communicate effectively with customers and the JDI team Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work Able to manage time effectively and stay productive throughout the workday Willing to learn and take on new types of projects
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must: Have a valid driver's license Have reliable transportation Have practical experience with multiple handyman/remodeling skills Be able to pass a background check Be able to pass a drug screening Be dependable and able to commit to full-time work Be comfortable working in customers' homes Be able to safely perform physical tasks associated with handyman and remodeling work
