Maintenance Controls Technician Pay Rate:
$24.00- $30.00/hr (Depends on Experience) (1st Shift) Monday
- Friday, 6:00 AM

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience; strong Technical proficiency in Automation software applications and electrical work. PrideStaff , a national recruiting and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Controls Technician for a confidential client. In this role, you will be the primary technical expert responsible for ensuring complex assembly, CNC, and Press equipment run at peak performance.What You'll Do Troubleshoot & Repair:
Serve as the lead technician for controls-related issues involving PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and servos.System Maintenance:
Design, install, and program plant electronic and computerized control systems.Cross-Functional Support:
Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance to ensure minimal downtime across the facility.Documentation:
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and document all tasks and parts used within the CMMS.Team Collaboration:
Partner with the maintenance team to address building and mechanical issues.What We're Looking For Experience:
At least three years of experience troubleshooting VFDs, PLCs (ladder/relay logic), and motor controls.Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of AC/DC control circuits (3-Phase, 480V) and industrial automation software like Siemens, Beckhoff, or Allen Bradley.Analytical Skills:
The ability to read complex schematics and blueprints to execute precise repairs.Adaptability:
A self-starter who is willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to keep operations running smoothly.Bonus Points:
Experience with SiemensSIMATIC STEP
7, Studio 5000, or Stamping Presses. Work Environment Active manufacturing environment involving moving mechanical parts and noise levels requiring hearing protection. Physical requirements include standing for 8-10 hours, navigating stairs, and working in confined spaces. Frequent operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
