We serve a diversified customer base including aerospace, medical, large equipment and more. In business since 1918, we are seeking long-term employees to join our team. Conveniently located one mile north of downtown Dayton. Hohman Plating offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, Life, 401K match, Bonus and more. This is a 3rd shift position, after 1st shift training. 11pm-7:30am Sunday through Thursday.
SUMMARY OF JOB
Provide world class maintenance support that is time-sensitive and cost-effective for the facility and its processing equipment. We provide all of the tools for the job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Routine and Emergency Work Order Response Maintain clean and safe work area in compliance with procedures, rules and regulations. Develop needed skills through training program to; Troubleshoot, determine root cause & corrective action, and repair equipment and electrical control systems using basic relay logic or PLC ladder logic. Effectively communicate technical information to others by answering questions and responding to service requests. Document work order findings using Microsoft Office applications, CMMS work order system and email. Preventive/Predictive Maintenance Ensure production capabilities by conducting preventive maintenance tasks on schedule and according to manufacturers' recommendations. Identify and document deficiencies in Environmental Systems, Safety Practices and Production equipment and implement repairs as required. Perform periodic bench work by dismantling inoperable equipment and rebuilding for future use. Conduct daily inspection of critical plant systems (air compressors, reverse water, boilers, scrubbers, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred Organizational skills Basic Industrial Maintenance experience preferred Mig, Tig, and Arc welding experience preferred, but can be developed as part of training program. Must be able to develop the following skills: Interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics, pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing skills to Maintain plant equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to dangerous chemicals, including exposure to fumes or airborne particles below OSHA permissible limits.
