We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician that can help our maintenance team keep our plant in top working order. Job Objectives Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the execution of preventative maintenance, repair maintenance, and plant optimization activities related to the plant equipment and utilities. Duties may include diagnosing and repairing automated equipment: pipe fitting; welding; fabricating; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing equipment; and facility maintenance. Key Skills The ideal candidate will be highly competent in the following fields:
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Self-Motivated
  • Troubleshooting
  • Fabrication
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Mechanics
  • 3-phase electrical
  • PLCs & Automation Passing an aptitude test will be required to be considered.
Working Conditions Hours:
Maintenance technicians will work 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Maintenance technicians will rotate on call every third week. Overtime coverage required as needed.
Starting Pay:
$32 per hour, more with experience and tenure.

Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to utilize electronic communication devices; employees will frequently walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, and climb (ascends and descends) and must be able to remain alert and present for extended shift work; must be able to lift 60lbs.; maneuver mechanical aids such as forklifts, aerial lifts, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.; work in a dusty environment, work in a range of temperatures both indoors and outdoors and occasionally work in confined spaces. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following background and mindset: High School diploma or GED is required: advanced education or training is strongly preferred. Training or knowledge of automated systems, VFDs, and PLCs. Must be dependable, seek accountability and able to take initiative with your tasks. Meticulous and quality-conscious with your work. Can maintain a strong work ethic while in close cooperation with your team or while working alone as the task at hand requires. Willing to continuously learn with on the job and external training. Avid problem solver/troubleshooter with a desire to improve their surroundings. Works well under stressful conditions. Five years' experience in a manufacturing setting (Food processing, feed or feed ingredient experience preferred).
