Job Description

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support our die-cast manufacturing operations on 2nd shift . You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and minimize downtime. Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with a collaborative team focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Shift Schedule 2nd
Shift:
2:30 PM - 11:00
PM Alternative:
3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Adjust equipment and replace components as needed. Support production teams with equipment performance and reliability. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work. Follow all safety procedures and preventive maintenance schedules. Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications High school diploma/GED preferred; equivalent maintenance experience considered. Previous industrial, manufacturing, or die-cast maintenance experience preferred . Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical, or electrical systems is a plus. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks throughout the shift. Reliable attendance and flexibility to support production needs. Preferred Skills Preventive maintenance experience. Die-cast equipment experience. PLC troubleshooting or controls experience. Basic welding or fabrication skills.
