Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of production equipment. Candidates with experience maintaining CNC machinery and SMT equipment are strongly encouraged to apply. The ideal individual is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Maintain and repair CNC machines, SMT equipment, and other manufacturing systems. Inspect machinery to identify potential issues before failures occur. Replace defective components and restore equipment to proper operating condition. Support equipment installations, upgrades, and start-up activities. Troubleshooting & Technical Support Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-related equipment problems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and work efficiently to restore production. Partner with operators and supervisors to address equipment concerns. Identify root causes of recurring failures and recommend long-term solutions. Electrical & Mechanical Tasks Perform basic electrical troubleshooting involving motors, sensors, switches, and wiring. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings. Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation. Assist with calibration and adjustment of manufacturing equipment as needed. Preventive Maintenance & Inventory Management Execute scheduled maintenance programs and inspections. Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements. Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and critical spare parts. Report parts usage and coordinate replenishment when necessary. Qualifications Required Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to changing production needs. Preferred Technical training, trade certification, or related maintenance education. Experience maintaining CNC machinery. Experience supporting SMT equipment. Familiarity with PLCs, motors, sensors, drives, and automated manufacturing systems. $32.00 per hour
