In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property, creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Conduct repairs using welding techniques, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions. Manage facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and general repairs to uphold the hotel's appearance and safety standards. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels. Supervise or assist with projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to protect staff and guests. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field with a focus on hotel or residential properties. Strong electrical experience complemented by mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics. Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters, and schematics for troubleshooting automation systems. Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment confidently. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration with team members. Supervising or leadership experience is preferred to coordinate maintenance activities effectively. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking is advantageous. Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and guest satisfaction.
