Position Summary:

Axium Packaging is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Location:

New Albany, OH Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs and industrial control systems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment Assist with equipment installation, startup, and commissioning Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

Qualifications:

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience Experience with PLCs and automation systems preferred. Understanding of injection units, clamps, heaters, pumps, motors, and temperature controls preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Education High school diploma or GED required. Technical school certification, apprenticeship, or vocational training in machining preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Environment Manufacturing and machine shop environment.
