Job Description

Position Purpose:
Maximize productive time of equipment. Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems. Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility for the maintenance of their own equipment. Coordinate and assist with the equipment installation and start-up.
Essential Functions:
1. Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturer's recommendations. 2. Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. 3. Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner. 4. Assist in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed. 5. Close out work orders using the maintenance scheduling software. 6. Maintain regular attendance. 7. Other duties as assigned. Education and Training
  • High School Diploma / GED Required.
  • Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or other related degree program preferred. Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years maintenance experience required
  • 2 years' experience with PLC's preferred
  • 5 years' experience w/480 electric preferred
  • Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems
  • Familiar with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls preferred
  • Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizations
  • Machining and welding capabilities required
  • Good computer skills required to include Microsoft Office applications Physical Demands
  • Frequent lifting, bending, twisting.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Effective oral and written skills mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required
