Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our apartment management team. This position is responsible for completing maintenance and repair work in apartments and common areas while providing good service to our residents. Full time position. We would consider taking a beginner and training.

Responsibilities Complete routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs Prepare apartments for new residents Respond to resident maintenance requests Identify problems and determine appropriate repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance areas organized Assist with general property upkeep as needed. Do whatever is needed. After-hours/on-call availability is required. Qualifications & Requirements Previous maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must be physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment Must be able to perform physical work, including climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and working in confined areas Ability to lift at least 50 pounds — required. Ability to climb ladder at least 10 feet up--required. Dependable and able to work independently Good communication and customer-service skills Able to use basic hand and power tools Must be willing to respond to maintenance issues when required Successful background check required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, honest, takes pride in their work, and can figure out problems without needing constant supervision . Experience is valuable, but attitude, reliability, work ethic, and the ability to learn are equally important. Would take beginner and train.
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
