Cortecgs Position:
CGS is currently seeking a Maintance Technician to join our operations team for on-going equipment maintenance and preservation in Oregon, Ohio . This is a local role, and as such, no per diem will be provided.
Requirements:
Your day-to-day tasks include: Carry out preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment during storage. Maintain equipment as per specifications and standards. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, designs and maintenance manuals Periodical inspections on mechanical equipment in storage Periodical reporting of preventative maintenance activities to supervisor Document and accurately record faults or problems, prepare required information for reporting purposes Support the ordering of any products or equipment components and complete any preservation maintenance activities on associated equipment Use of a wide variety of hand, portable, and stationary power tools Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
Successful candidates will have:
Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in construction and or operational maintenance High school diploma NCCER Millwright preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong commitment to safety Be able to successfully complete criminal background check, drug and alcohol screen Pass any client / site specific inductions and training Hold a valid driver's license Other information: Benefits of working with us: Competitive salary and benefits Opportunity to grow knowledge and skills in a supportive team.
