The successful candidate would have a general knowledge of building systems, life safety systems (fire alarm, sprinklers, etc.), plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance needs of a 24-hour facility. This
FULL TIME
position includes shared on-call responsibilities in case of emergency or urgent maintenance needs after hours or on weekends. Under the Direction of the Maintenance Director, main duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Cleaning, Preparing, Painting, Repair and Rehab of resident apartments General maintenance and care of facility Maintenance, cleaning, and repair of floors and carpeting Calling, Scheduling, and Oversight of Contractors as needed Implementation of safety procedures Keep building in compliance with all State of Ohio, OSHA, and HUD rules and regulations Act as a safety manager for facility ; ensure continued compliance with all Fire Safety rules and regulations Keep record of Preventative Maintenance tasks as assigned. Other tasks as assigned by supervisors. Candidates must have a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check. Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations not necessary, but are beneficial.
