You'd be running install and service calls at warehouses, plants, docks, and other commercial buildings.
You will:
Install and service commercial sectional, rolling steel, high-speed, and fire doors Wind and replace torsion springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and hinges Install, troubleshoot, and wire commercial operators, safety devices, and control stations Service dock levelers, dock seals, restraints, and related equipment Drop-test and reset fire doors Diagnose problems in the field and determine what's needed to fix them Complete work orders and communicate parts needs and job status to the office Keep your truck stocked, organized, and clean What We Need Commercial door experience preferred. If you've got solid mechanical and electrical skills from another trade and want to learn this one, we'll train the right person. Torsion spring experience — or the willingness to learn it correctly and respect it Comfortable working at heights and on lifts Able to lift 75 lbs and do physical work all day Valid driver's license and clean enough record to be insured on a company truck Own basic hand tools Reliable and presentable — you're representing us on the customer's site Welding experience is a plus.
