Job Description

Facilities Maintenance Technician As a Facilities Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of our physical facilities. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the upkeep of building systems to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all employees and visitors. You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule . 1st Shift Mon-Fri, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm In this role, you will impact the overall functionality and safety of our facilities, contributing directly to the productivity and success of our operations by ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and assist in managing service contracts. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory of supplies. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all maintenance operations.
