This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and handling a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and handyman tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, keeping the shop organized and operational, and assisting with field service projects. No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality workmanship. Responsibilities Shop & Equipment Maintenance Diagnose and repair small engines and landscaping equipment, including: Commercial mowers String trimmers Blowers Chainsaws Other small power equipment Perform basic maintenance and repairs on: Pickup trucks Dump trucks Trailers Repair and maintain hand tools and shop equipment Shop Organization Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Organize tools, parts, and inventory Ensure equipment is properly stored and ready for use Field Services & Handyman Work Perform a variety of field maintenance and improvement projects, including: Power washing Sandblasting Painting Basic carpentry Tile work Irrigation repairs and installation Property maintenance General handyman services Travel to job sites as needed Assist crews with special projects and repairs

Additional Responsibility:

Landscape Crew Support Assist mowing and landscape maintenance crews as needed Operate commercial mowing equipment, including zero-turn mowers, stand-on mowers, trimmers, and blowers Perform routine lawn maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup Fill in for crew members during peak workload periods or staffing shortages Help ensure all equipment is properly maintained and ready for daily operations Qualifications Mechanical experience with small engines and outdoor power equipment preferred Experience with vehicle and equipment maintenance is a plus General handyman skills and knowledge of basic construction practices Experience with irrigation systems preferred Ability to learn new skills quickly Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions What We're Looking For Self-motivated and dependable Strong work ethic Mechanically minded Organized and detail-oriented Willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks Positive attitude and eagerness to learn Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Variety of work both in the shop and in the field Supportive team environment
