Moeller Real Estate is a fast-growing real estate and property management company (PDM Property Management) with a portfolio of apartment complexes in Midwest Ohio. We are seeking a skilled and reliable HandyMan & Maintenance - Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a variety of responsibilities around maintaining and improving the appearance, functionality, and safety of our properties. This role combines general maintenance tasks, renovation support, and groundskeeping to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and visually appealing. The primary location of this role will be in Vandalia area, but depending on work load and priorities individual may assist at our other properties in Huber Heights, Troy, Piqua, etc.Key Responsibilities:
1. General Maintenance (60% of Job): Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of property systems. Diagnose and repair minor issues in building infrastructure, such as electrical faults, plumbing leaks, or appliance malfunctions. Conduct repairs and replacements on light fixtures, door locks, faucets, toilets, and other property elements as needed. Assist in maintaining interior and exterior common areas. Respond to urgent repair requests and emergencies from residents in a timely manner. 2. Unit Turnover Renovation and Repair Work (30% of Job): Assist in property renovation, unit turns, and upgrade projects such as painting, drywall, flooring, carpentry, doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc. Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and supervisors during larger renovation projects to ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards. 3. Preventative Maintenance & Misc Projects (10% of Job): Conduct regular property inspections to ensure all buildings and grounds comply with safety regulations and standards. Identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate risks (e.g., fixing loose handrails, securing uneven pavement, etc.). Ensure proper functioning of safety equipment and alarms.Projects including:
fixing/repairing/painting decks, soffit repair, gutter repair, etc.Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:
