Job Description
At the Garner Hotel by IHG, we are dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality experiences that welcome and inspire our guests. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hotel Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. Job Duties Develops and maintains an ongoing preventative maintenance hotel program for guest rooms, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces and all hotel equipment Ensures all exterior and interior areas of the property are clean Provides professional and courteous guest service at all times Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all work space storage areas and commercial areas of the building Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time Troubleshoot thermostats are programmed correctly Inspect and clean HVAC filters and bathroom exhaust fans Perform miscellaneous minor repairs including replacing toilet seat, check light bulbs and replace as needed Furniture touch-up and ensure hardware are in working order Inspecting and repairing grout and caulking as needed Maintain, repair and clean all guests in accordance with property room preventative maintenance procedures including vacuum behind furniture, shampoo carpets and upholstery Perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces to include tub, wall tile, floors, walls, windows, mirrors.
