Overview Radici Plastics USA LLC is currently seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Afternoon Shift (2pm-10pm) Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing extrusion manufacturing equipment and more to ensure optimal plant operations during the afternoon shift. Your expertise will help keep our production running smoothly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Installation and maintenance of production machinery including: extrusion lines, pelletizers, blenders, and other equipment Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment using schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic components, pneumatic systems, and mechanical machinery using multimeters (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters), oscilloscopes, and other precision measuring instruments Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial control systems Conduct occasional welding repairs, and equipment fabrication as needed to maintain machinery integrity Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive tasks Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely for access during maintenance activities Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting, with a demonstrated proficiency in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment Strong electrical diagnostics skills including electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repair techniques Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), VFD's, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting methods Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation tools Skilled in welding techniques; experience with low voltage electrical systems preferred Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including electrical blueprint reading and high-voltage safety procedures Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation for internal support needs Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus Why Radici Plastics USA?
