POSITION DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads day-to-day facility maintenance Assists the engineering team with plant operations and equipment inspections, repairs, and modifications Sampling and gathering data on research and development projects. Acts as support staff to just-in-time manufacturing Performs other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training, certifications, or additional education in maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a technical maintenance role, such as industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a related field. Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and systems preferred.
POSITION AUTHORITY
No direct reports. Matrix or direct supervision of others as required or assigned. Has authority to stop any equipment or process for management advisement for safety or mechanical reasons.
KEY MEASUREMENTS/ACCOUNTABILITY
Attitude and overall contribution to team performance as measured by efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and work satisfaction. Overall appearance and functionality of facilities and associated systems Low machine and equipment "down time" as a result of a high standard of planning, maintenance and/or degree of contribution to "real time" productivity of the machines and equipment. Consistent, accurate, and thorough data or sample collection for research projects Speed of implementing and completing all tasks assigned. Contribution to efficiencies by timely responsiveness to production and safety needs with the least disruption to production processes. Cleanliness and organization of maintenance area. Communicates accurately and clearly, both verbal and written, as required.
JOB INTERFACE
Position interfaces internally with Trécé personnel including all manufacturing employees, the Principal Engineer, and from time to time the General Manager in his manufacturing management related role. Externally, contacts include vendors, contractors, and machine manufactures and specialists.
RECOMMENDED TRAINING
Forklift training Various seminars/factory offered training for specific Trécé equipment, as available.
