The Maintenance position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties such as troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all equipment, facilities and buildings according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. Job Duties Perform routine maintenance on building interiors and exteriors. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment. Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, groundskeeping, appliance repair, electrical wiring, maintenance of hand tools, proper safety measures, troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Communicate effectively with all Shepherd Oil employees, customers and vendors. Other duties as requested or required, including but not limited to painting, snow removal, mowing, etc. Work in a safe manner and recognizes and addresses unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others. Position will be based in Blackwell, OK, but travel is necessary expected to perform maintenance duties at each of our stores and truck yards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Preferred experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance. Ability to work independently. Must have a strong work ethic.
