Job Description

Microtel Inn Broken Bow is seeking a dependable, service-oriented Hotel Maintenance Technician who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and believes that preventing problems is better than fixing them after they happen. If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, and being part of a team that values hospitality and accountability, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Complete daily preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Repair drywall, paint, flooring, doors, locks, furniture, and fixtures. Perform routine inspections of guest rooms and public areas. Maintain the pool, fitness center, parking lot, and exterior grounds. Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, air filters, batteries, and other building components. Assist with room renovations and capital improvement projects. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders. Maintain a clean, organized engineering shop and storage areas. Assist housekeeping and front desk when maintenance-related support is needed. Qualifications Maintenance experience preferred. General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors. Pay is based on experience
