Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join the Winfield Property Management team in the Jenks/Glenpool area. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of facilities equipment, work orders and supporting the overall safety and functionality of our properties. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on maintenance work and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems. Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues. Conducts quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly. Relay information to Foreman to obtain services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training. Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility. Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies. Performs general repairs onsite to protect property and residents. Works to refurbish residences prior to occupancy. Reports lease violations, assists with resident retention and maintaining curb appeal. On call for emergencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have a functioning smartphone for in-field app usage and work related communication. Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and HVAC repair. Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, vendors, employees, owners and guests. Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents and vendors. Must be able to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members in English.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in related field required. Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend and crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds at a time. From $21.00 per hour
