Reporting Relationships :
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with all team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
Job Summary:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor's main responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Follow the 5S methodology in all areas of the plant Keep the maintenance storage room organized with all content logged Maintain detailed logs of maintenance and repair activities (what was done and when it was done) Evaluate pick ticket(s) and prioritize what needs to be fixed and fix them or schedule a timely fix. Keep an updated list of all machines, tools, equipments, parts currently in hand Ensure that staff is properly trained on machines and equipment they use daily Suggest and execute methods to improve production and ensure safety Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure they are working properly. Conduct weekly inspections of facilities, grounds and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems, and perform necessary repairs. Trouble shoot and repair to Forklifts , Trucks and Trailers Handle minor building repairs, such as painting, drywall patching, and fixture replacement. Install new equipment and appliances as needed. Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Make adjustments to machines to ensure they are working efficiently (grinder, forklifts…)
Required Skills :
Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical, and plumbing systems, ability to read blueprints and technical manuals, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
Soft Skills :
Problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, physical stamina and dexterity, and communication.
Performance Metrics:
Will be based on ability to handle described functions above
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
