Healthcare Facility Maintenance

Details about the Maintenance position we are hiring for: The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring that the facility is safe for patients and staff, attractive and well maintained, and operating within the facilities maintenance budget.

Requirements:

Relevant work experience (2+ years preferred) Healthcare experience and knowledge with the Joint Commission and State Health Department regulatory or accrediting standards Troubleshoots and performs repairs on mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems, as well as hospital-specific equipment. Responds to work request or trouble calls and pages in a timely and professional manner without valid written complaints. Ensures all maintenance activities meet safety regulations and hospital standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission). Addresses urgent repair requests and resolve critical issues, minimizing disruptions to hospital operations. Performs regular inspections and maintain the condition of hospital buildings and infrastructure. Keeps accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance for management reporting. Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing Must be familiar with fire and life safety prevention equipment Required to perform preventative maintenance on all building equipment Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software Maintains a positive and supportive attitude and demeanor Must have valid driver's license Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks •On-Call Position•This employee is on-call for facility emergencies that may occur from time to time

$50,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
