Position Introduction Performs all aspects of concrete installation, including base and grade preparation, setting forms, mixing, pouring, and finishing by hand or machine troweling. Install and remove poles, street signs, barricades, bollards, street traffic control signage Install and remove armor decking or temporary ground cover for heavy traffic usage Sweep and clean streets and roads with applicable equipment Support seasonal tasks including snow removal, ice control, and litter removal. Reads blueprints for job requirements and prepares surfaces for the pouring of concrete, including grade preparation and construction of forms. Mixes, pours, and finishes concrete installation, such as floors, ramps, curbs, gutters, pads, benches, slabs, sidewalks, and bumper blocks. Performs general duties such as asphalt installation, roof installation and maintenance, and heavy equipment operation and maintenance as needed. Uses established safety practices to protect health and safety of personnel and property. Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position. Required Education High School diploma or GED Required Experience 24 months experience in concrete finishing
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Able to communicate verbally and in writing Use tools or equipment with expertise Ability to read and interpret written or printed materials including simple blueprints Perform simple recordkeeping requiring logging or filing Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Required Certifications and Licenses Valid Driver's License Department Preferences Class B CDL with no "E" or "L/Z" restrictions (i.e. can drive manual or automatic transmissions with air brakes) Ability to drive a Forklift and skid-steer 12 months experience in heavy equipment operation Hiring Contingent Upon a
