Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Maker/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality signs and installing them efficiently at various client locations. Your expertise will help bring visual branding to life and ensure that each sign is securely and accurately installed, contributing to the overall success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with diverse signage materials and showcase your craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Design, fabricate, and assemble signs according to client specifications and project requirements Operate tools and machinery safely to cut, shape, and prepare signage materials such as vinyl, metal, acrylic, or wood Install signs at designated locations, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and compliance with safety standards Use measurement tools and techniques to ensure precise placement and installation of signage Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain optimal performance Collaborate with project managers and clients to confirm installation details and address any adjustments needed Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical components of illuminated or electronic signs for proper functionality Qualifications Proven experience in sign making, fabrication, or installation preferred Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely Knowledge of electrical systems related to illuminated signage; familiarity with ohmmeters is a plus Excellent attention to detail for accurate measurements and precise installations Ability to lift heavy signage materials and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for installations Join us in creating eye-catching signs that make a lasting impression!
