Role:

As a Maintenance Specialist, you'll be an essential part of our hotel team, ensuring every corner of our property stays in top shape—even after hours. Whether you're performing repairs, keeping systems running efficiently, or making sure our guests' experiences are uninterrupted, your expertise will keep everything operating smoothly, day and night.

What You'll Do:

Deliver Outstanding Guest Service:

 Always ready to provide excellent service, you'll address maintenance requests with a smile—whether it's during the day or overnight. Be a

Jack-of-All-Trades:

 Assist with preventative maintenance, including tasks like replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl. Ensure that our hotel consistently meets high standards, regardless of the hour. Take Care of the

Pool:

 Maintain the hotel's pool during your shift, including chemical adjustments, cleaning filters, and maintaining pool logs—because a sparkling pool is always in demand!

Tackle Systems & Repairs:

 Perform minor repairs on HVAC systems, electrical setups, plumbing, and more, ensuring that all hotel systems stay functional overnight.

Refurbish & Beautify:

 Repair and restore furniture, fixtures, and equipment to keep the hotel looking fresh and welcoming for every guest.

Safety First:

 Remain vigilant in identifying safety hazards and security concerns, ensuring a secure and safe environment for guests and staff.

Team Collaboration:

 Work closely with your team members to ensure every shift is a success. Even overnight, you're part of a supportive, friendly crew.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

Hands-On Experience:

 2-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.

Technical Skills:

 Comfort with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Problem Solver:

 You're the go-to person for figuring out solutions to maintenance issues—whether it's an urgent repair or routine upkeep.

Team Player:

 We value a team-first attitude. You'll work closely with others to ensure the hotel stays in top shape, no matter the time of day.

Tech-Savvy:

 Comfortable using computers for logging maintenance requests and managing work orders.

Overnight Availability:

 Able to work overnight shifts and stay focused and energetic to tackle any issues that come up after hours.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and lift heavy loads. Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold), both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to stay on your feet for long periods and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to handle the physical demands of lifting and moving objects, as well as performing maintenance tasks. Exposure to secondhand smoke and other environmental factors may occur in and around the hotel.
