Montereau of Tulsa, OK is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician who is committed to fulfilling Montereau's mission: to value, support, and uplift the lives of older adults and the people who care for them.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY

Maintains equipment and performs repairs on equipment on a regular and as needed basis throughout the community in a manner consistent with the Montereau mission, vision and values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintain equipment and perform repairs including plumbing, minor electrical, and HVAC in assigned residences and common areas. Order supplies and equipment as authorized by the Engineering Manager. Maintain materials, tools, and equipment in good working order. Maintain and keep updated records in the electronic work order system. Assist with testing and responding to fire alarms and emergency generator systems. Perform monthly maintenance checks of building, grounds and facilities. May assist inspectors and contractors in the testing, inspection, or repair of equipment, utility/emergency systems and structure. Assist with snow removal and salting to assure all walkways are passable and safe. Perform other related functions as required or as assigned.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. One years of general maintenance experience is preferred. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and meets requirements on a motor vehicle record (MVR) check. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Strong verbal communication skills in order to provide quality customer service. Basic computer skills to utilize the electronic work order system via iPod or computer. Ability to effectively interact with a diverse leadership team, staff, residents, and third party associates, including vendors, providers, and visitors. An extensive amount of standing, walking, kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching above the head and shoulders. Ability to occasionally crouch and crawl in confined spaces and routinely climb ladders and stairs. Ability to routinely lift and push up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent use of ordinary communication, including normal levels of hearing and vision, including both near and far seeing, color discrimination, field of vision, and depth perception.
