About the Opportunity We are a growing residential pool construction company looking for a highly skilled, dependable, hands-on construction professional to join our team. This is NOT a basic general labor position. We are looking for someone who has experience working with multiple trades and can confidently jump between different types of work as needed. Our projects involve pool construction, pool houses, outdoor living areas, concrete, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, tile, masonry, and general site work. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will vary from project to project and may include: General construction and manual labor Concrete preparation, demolition, repair, and finishing Plumbing installation and repairs Running and repairing sprinkler/irrigation lines Tile installation and tile repair Masonry and stone work Landscaping, grading, planting, and cleanup Excavation and trenching Installing and repairing various outdoor features Operating hand tools and power tools Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials Jobsite preparation and cleanup Assisting with pool construction and renovations Identifying problems in the field and helping determine practical solutions Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in multiple construction trades Comfortable working with their hands and working outdoors Able to use hand tools and power tools safely and properly Able to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements Able to work independently without constant supervision A problem solver who can look at something and figure out how to fix it Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality workmanship Comfortable working in heat, cold, dirt, mud, and other outdoor conditions Willing to learn new skills when needed Able to follow directions and work well with a small crew Respectful and professional around customers and their homes Experience That Would Be Especially Valuable Experience in several of the following is highly preferred: Concrete Plumbing Irrigation/sprinkler systems Tile Masonry Landscaping Grading/excavation Pool construction or pool repair General residential construction Equipment operation Outdoor living construction You do not need to be an expert in every trade. We are looking for someone who has a broad construction skill set and is capable of learning and taking on different types of work. Requirements Previous construction, remodeling, landscaping, pool, or related trade experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to work outdoors in Oklahoma weather Must be dependable and willing to work as part of a team Must take pride in workmanship and jobsite appearance What We Offer $25-$30/hour based on experience and demonstrated skills Full-time work Opportunity for increased pay as your skill set and responsibilities grow Variety of work — no two projects are exactly alike Work with a small, hands-on construction company Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of pool and outdoor construction
