Qualifications:
High School Diploma or
GED. 1-3
years of relevant maintenance experience. Must be enrolled in an
INTEGRIS
Health-approved apprentice program within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare or similar complex environments
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations across facility systems and infrastructure to support safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare operations. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and installations on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, utility, and building systems. Troubleshoot equipment and infrastructure issues and complete emergency repairs to minimize operational disruptions. Conduct preventive maintenance to improve system reliability and reduce equipment downtime. Monitor and support utility systems, including compressed air and emergency power systems. Perform general facility upkeep, including minor repairs, painting, and related maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, equipment performance, and associated costs. Coordinate with hospital staff, vendors, and facility leadership to complete maintenance activities with minimal impact to operations. Ensure compliance with Life Safety, Environment of Care, State Fire Marshal, OSHA, infection control, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Follow safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, hot work, and confined space procedures. Support a safe and functional environment for patients, visitors, and staff through effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
