Job Description

Join Our Team as a Regional Maintenance Technician (Operations)! Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives on keeping equipment running at peak performance? Do you enjoy working in the field, tackling technical challenges, and making a real impact? If so, we're looking for you to join our team as a Regional Maintenance Technician . About the Role Reporting to the Operations Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing crematory equipment and facility systems across multiple locations. This is a dynamic, travel-heavy role where your expertise ensures operational excellence, safety, and reliability. What You'll Do Inspect, test, and troubleshoot crematory machinery and building systems Diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance and repairs Repair or replace worn components before breakdowns occur Use diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools to complete repairs Interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to plan work Maintain accurate service reports and documentation Order parts and supplies as needed Provide recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability Train on-site staff on basic maintenance and efficient machine operation Support general facility maintenance including electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry What You Bring High School Diploma, G.E.D., or trade/technical certification Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience (HVAC, controls, PLCs, refractory, or similar) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 80% Experience reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools (preferred) Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs Key Skills & Strengths Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Highly organized with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently and within a team Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies High level of integrity and strong work ethic What to Expect Extensive travel (up to 80%) across regional locations Physically active work (lifting, bending, and working in various environments) Exposure to high heat, noise, and varying weather conditions A fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same If you're ready to take your technical skills on the road and play a critical role in maintaining essential operations, we'd love to hear from you.
