Our team is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service across all properties. Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our hotel properties by performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks. Your expertise will ensure our facilities remain welcoming, safe, and operational at all times. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, doors, windows, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques. Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute repairs accurately. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for various maintenance tasks. Implement erosion control measures during landscaping or construction projects to prevent soil displacement. Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and manual handling procedures. Assist with the installation of construction plans or modifications as directed by project managers or supervisors. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently. Experience interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Knowledge of industrial construction practices and safety regulations related to construction sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines. Familiarity with erosion control techniques used in landscaping or construction environments. Excellent understanding of workplace safety standards including OSHA safety standards and respiratory protection requirements.
