Nights Salary Range:
$18.68 and up, depending on experience
Shift Differentials:
$1.10 extra for working between 3:00pm
  • 11:00pm $1.
95 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am $0.94 extra for working weekends Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Floor Care Specialist for Environmental Services (EVS) is to restore and maintain hard surface and carpeted floors and to implement assigned EVS projects. As a Floor Care Specialist at Asante, you will have the opportunity to: Provide a clean healthy, safe as possible environment for all patients, visitors and employees through the use of appropriate asepsis techniques. Clean occupied rooms, discharge rooms, offices and common areas and includes the stocking all paper and soap products. Maintain carts and equipment according to guidelines. Maintain general appearance of/and provides a clean, healthy and safe environment for floors, carpets and furniture. Scrub, strip and polish floors with floor machine or electric roto. Shampoo and extract carpets and mats. Extract and clean fabric and vinyl furniture. Follow prescribed floor care procedures. Clean and detail tile and grout using assigned program. Requirements One year institutional cleaning experience providing knowledge and experience with floor finishing and/or carpet cleaning High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position Working Environment / Physical Requirements This position requires continuous physical exertion including walking and the ability to lift, push or pull over 50 pounds, bending and stretching and other awkward physical movements. In addition, exposure to blood and bodily fluids is to be expected.
