Company Overview Zach's Sports and Spirits is a family-owned and operated restaurant that has served the Altoona community since 1967. We take pride in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and keeping our facilities in great shape for our guests and staff. About the Role We're hiring a dependable, all-around maintenance person to help keep the restaurant running smoothly. Tasks vary day to day — from fixing a leaky faucet to repairing furniture or touching up paint — so we're looking for someone comfortable handling a range of issues as they come up, not just one specialty. This is a great fit for someone looking for steady, flexible part-time work with a manageable schedule. What You'll Be Doing Daily cleaning throughout the restaurant and bar area General repairs — furniture, fixtures, doors, and other items as they break Basic plumbing fixes (leaky faucets, running toilets, clogged drains, etc.) Painting and touch-up work as needed Other maintenance tasks as they arise; the day-to-day work varies What We're Looking For Reliable — consistent attendance with minimal no-shows or last-minute cancellations Broadly handy — comfortable with basic plumbing, general repairs, painting, and everyday problem-solving Able to work independently and take initiative on tasks without close supervision Takes pride in maintaining the space, not just completing a shift Prior experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade preferred but not required Details Pay negotiable based on experience Approximately 20 hours/week, with flexible scheduling Independent role with minimal day-to-day supervision Interested candidates should apply with a brief note on relevant experience.
