Maintenance Engineer

Position Overview Forge Hospitality is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Engineer to support hotel operations at our Tru by Hilton. This role is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the property, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff. Key Responsibilities Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance throughout the hotel. Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and service calls. Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systems. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and backofhouse areas. Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and brand requirements. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory. Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed. Support property renovations, projects, and seasonal maintenance tasks. Qualifications Previous hotel or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
