In-Person $24.00 - $30.00 per Hour 2 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Direct Hire Maintenance Technician to join our foundry team. In this role, you will be critical to our daily operations, ensuring that all production equipment and facilities run efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. You will be full time day 1! Benefits come through the beginning of the next month and are FREE!
Description:
The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of mechanical and electrical expertise, a knack for troubleshooting complex industrial systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, heavy-industrial environment. What you'll do:
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdowns on vital foundry equipment (including furnaces, molding machines, conveyors, sand mixers, and overhead cranes).
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, lubrication, filter replacements, and scheduled tune-ups on motors, belts, and drives to prevent downtime.
Emergency Response:
React quickly and efficiently to urgent equipment failures on the production floor to keep lines moving.
Installation & Calibration:
Assist in installing or dismantling machinery, setting up control systems (including PLCs), and calibrating equipment to precise standards.
Safety First:
Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, maintain a clean and hazardous-free work area, and wear required PPE.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with machine operators, supervisors, and fellow maintenance staff to continuously improve uptime and productivity.
Education:
High School High School Diploma or GED Experience:
24 months
Experience:
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred (foundry or heavy manufacturing experience is a major plus).,
Technical Knowledge:
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
Physical:
Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs),Standing / Walking,Repetitive Motion,Bending / Stooping /
Kneeling,Hot Environments Skills:
Blueprints:
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.,
Tools:
Proficient with hand/power tools, diagnostic meters, and material handling equipment.,
Mindset:
