Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks, particularly in fence installation and maintenance. This role involves working on-site, collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality installations that meet customer specifications. The Fence Installer will be responsible for assembling and installing various types of fencing, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Install various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum. Assemble fence panels and gates according to specifications. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, measuring, and securing materials. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of fencing materials on construction sites. Conduct landscape maintenance as needed around installed fences. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in masonry work or hardscape projects as required. Skills Proficient in using power tools and hand tools necessary for fence installation. Experience in frame carpentry is a plus. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with construction site safety practices. Skills in masonry or hardscape installation are advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience in fence installation is not required but is helpful. Construction experience is required. Pay starts at $18/hr. Advancement opportunities available for the right candidate. Reliable transportation is a must. Our company can require travel up to an hour and a half for a job. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 7am start time to roughly 5pm. We do not work on weekends or holidays.
