Apply now to get lined up with an interview Job Description This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex industrial equipment and systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician applies advanced electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise to ensure reliable operation of production lines and supports continuous improvement through root cause analysis and optimization. Responsibilities Troubleshoot advanced electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues. Diagnose and repair systems involving schematics, pneumatics, DC controls, 24-volt, 120-volt, 480-volt, and European 230-volt power systems. Work with pumps, water displacement systems, and motor controls to maintain and restore proper operation of industrial equipment. Perform PLC diagnostics and programming to support process control and automation improvements. Perform HMI, VFD, and servo diagnostics and programming to optimize equipment performance and reliability. Install and wire motors, drives, PLCs, DC controls, and control systems in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to guide troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. Support production operations through root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing equipment performance. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize work, coordinate repairs, and minimize impact on operations. Participate in training and cross-training activities to share knowledge and enhance team capabilities. Document maintenance activities, findings, and repairs accurately to support continuous improvement and compliance. Why Work Here! Work Environment/Shift This position is based in an industrial facility that operates on a 2-3-2 rotating shift schedule, with 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shifts rotating monthly. New hires train on a first-shift schedule for at least one month before moving into the rotating shift pattern. The work environment involves exposure to industrial equipment, electrical systems, and production machinery, requiring adherence to safety procedures and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. The role supports continuous operations and may include on-call responsibilities aligned with production needs. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Darlington, PA.
