The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of residential painting, facilities maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. The Maintenance Technician will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities while supervising maintenance activities. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality and protect surfaces. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment. Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repair purposes. Operate and maintain logic controllers for automated systems within the facility. Fabricate components as necessary to support maintenance operations. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in their tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on the status of repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is required. Familiarity with residential painting techniques is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC operations is essential. Experience with schematics and logic controllers is a plus. Leadership experience or supervisory skills are highly desirable. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
