Summary:
Maintains and repairs machines, equipment, autos, conveyors and lifts. Maintains grounds by performing the following duties.

Duties:
Receive written work orders or verbal instructions from Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, air compressor, heating and cooling units, including replacing worn or defective parts such as filters, switches and fuses. Complete minor repairs and replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment such as auto baggers, label machines, forklifts and conveyors. Assist other departments with moving equipment and unloading and storing supplies. Update Maintenance Supervisor on concerns, issues, and status of maintenance department. Adhere to departmental budget and goals set by management. Assist with coordinating outside facilities projects (ex. moving warehouses) Train incoming Maintenance Technicians. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain an industrial truck certification. Basic knowledge of computer systems is preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions; The noise level is usually moderate.

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
