In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of plant machinery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting techniques Read blueprints and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications Assist with welding tasks according to welding standards when necessary. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing system failures and recommending solutions. Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and safety standards while providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. Our client is looking for contract to hire Mechanical Maintenance positions for a foundry in Tell City IN. Candidates must be proficient in most of the following:
  • Welding
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Fabrication/Fasteners
  • Blueprint reading
  • Power transmission repair
  • Machine repair Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics.

Maintains a positive attitude while effectively navigating changing priorities and demanding situations. Approaches problems with enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and a commitment to achieving results.
