Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a DogWatch Installer and Pet Fence Technician, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing pet safety and owner peace of mind through professional installation of underground pet containment systems. You'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining pet fencing solutions that keep pets secure while ensuring a positive experience for our clients. Must be dependable and comfortable around dogs. Also must provide a valid drivers license. Company vehicle provided. Schedule Part-time with flexible scheduling. You can choose your set days and hours, and well work with your availability. Day time hours only. Responsibilities Install underground pet fencing systems using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment with precision and attention to detail Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement and ensure proper system functionality Perform heavy lifting of fencing materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently on various job sites Use carpentry, framing, masonry, or concrete forming skills to prepare trenches or secure fencing components when necessary Troubleshoot system issues by testing wiring, connections, and signal strength; perform repairs or adjustments as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Communicate clearly with clients about system operation, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience with construction-related tasks such as carpentry, framing, masonry, or concrete finishing Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Knowledge of landscape maintenance or hardscape installation is a plus for site preparation Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to pet safety solutions that improve lives.
