Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The purpose of this job is to have the mechanical and technical ability to maintain all machinery in the York PA facility.

• Regular attendance is required, with proper notification for absences in accordance with the IWM International attendance policy.
• Responsible for all phases of maintenance work on all machines, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic and motors.
• Check and maintain fluid level in machines once a week.
• Basic plant maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, run electric lines, pipe lines and cleaning of machines.
• Some welding, electronic work and preventive maintenance.
• Responsible for keeping work are clean; especially the basement.
• Assist in department wherever needed.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 months related experience and/or training is required. Ability to read and work from schematics and blueprints. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and safety data sheets. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. The department is very hot and some jobs include working on very hot ovens. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Comments After reaching top rate, all maintenance personnel are on call 24 hours. All personnel are expected to be willing to take any courses that would be helpful to them on the job, such as electrical, electronics, welding, etc. employee must be able to work alone.
