July 2020 Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist with custodial duties and general maintenance, including minor repairs. Open courthouse and ensure readiness for daily operations. Inspect boiler systems, pipes, and fixtures. Purchase supplies and prepare labor and material cost estimates. Remove ice and snow during winter months. Assist with election preparation, including setting up booths and counting ballots. Implement good housekeeping and safety practices; plan and direct preventative maintenance activities. React productively to change and perform other essential duties as assigned. Communicate effectively on upcoming projects, both verbally and through written plans.

Job Specifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of one year of maintenance experience. In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is required.

General Requirements:

Ability to speak and write English effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others. Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions. Capable of making sound decisions using good judgment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Specific Requirements:
